Eid Celebration

Integrate cordially invites you to Eid Celebration

supported by Todmorden Town Council. The event will take place at Todmorden Town Hall
Saturday 27th November 2010, between 11am and 2pm.
It’s an opportunity to share cultural values and learn about the
different communities that make up the rich tapestry of Todmorden.
There will be food, entertainment and activities for all ages.

Do you only read the headline on each post .... it goes on to explain the aims of the group in the rest of the posting ... I honestly feel you would benifit greatly if you attend such event .. you could learn such a lot about people from these different cultural backgrounds ... What do you think free means, I can see where you are coming from, about how the produce is grown and how the farmers are losing out on land, they can use but the idea of the IED is to grow the veg and eat it by taking some home with freely, rather then pay extortunate prices, though some stall holders have become rather greedy by selling and making a profit on the market. Estelle can you grow some Brussel sprouts I am rather partial to bit of wind repelent now and again.

I like brussels I'd take bag with to collect some on my way back from fest tomorrow, my Grandda used to make some lovely brussels in hes back garden in Enfield Town (Chase side).

Blackpool (& Preston & Central Manchester) is the only part of Lancashire I'd never go to...

I've been to each once.
I would visit Blackpool again

I like Morcambe, Ulverston, Nether Kellet (where My Great Grandad lived) Southport (great loyalist town, which doesn't demean the Ulster Nationality) Darwen, Oldham (limeside) & Liverpool (where I have only been once)...

Honest Towns, what you see is where you get there (especially over the sands in what is now part of the disgrace of local government that is 'South Cumbria'). Many of our family came from up that way in the 1910-30's...
